This intensive one-day seminar focuses on the integration of breath control, Ginastica Natural movements, and their application to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), particularly in executing and defending Kimuras and wristlocks. Participants will learn how these elements contribute to improved performance, fluidity, and efficiency in BJJ.

Seminar Objectives:

  1. Understand and practice effective breath control techniques.
  2. Learn and apply Ginastica Natural movements to enhance BJJ performance.
  3. Integrate breath and movement to improve efficiency in executing Kimuras and wristlocks.
  4. Develop a holistic approach to BJJ through the connection of breath, movement, and technique.

Seminar Schedule:

8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Registration and Warm-Up

  • Check-in and registration
  • Light warm-up exercises to prepare for the day’s activities

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Introduction to Breath Techniques

  • Lecture: Importance of breath control in BJJ and overall physical performance
  • Practical Session:
  • Diaphragmatic breathing
  • Box breathing (4-4-4-4 count)
  • Rhythmic breathing during exertion

10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Ginastica Natural Movements

  • Lecture: Overview of Ginastica Natural and its benefits for BJJ
  • Practical Session:
  • Animal flow movements (e.g., bear crawl, crab walk, monkey crawl)
  • Mobility drills to improve flexibility and fluidity
